Hot water solar panels

I can't find my original thread, I think some so-and-so must have moved it. Just to say my plumber came this morning and quoted 750TL for two new solar panels to replace my old leaky ones, including fitting, which I think is very reasonable and a lot less than I was expecting. Tomorrow a.m. they will be fitted and all will be well with the world again.

They make and install hot water tanks and solar collectors.

I could not find his card so I don't have contact details. They do not speak English but he will be able to give you costs of supply and fix.

For 750 TL I hope you still get plenty of water when the sunshine hours are very limited. I guess you get what you pay for.

Thanks Mike, but I think it is the same people, Yunus (Dolphin) energy. My plumber doesn't do the big stuff and I think these other guys have a near monopoly in the area because they are good, quick and reasonably priced.

You paid the correct going price for the panels, we had them fitted 12 months ago and it was in the same ball park.

Considering it took 3 guys an hour and a half to change them without doing any damage, and they had to work around satellite dish and internet pole I thought it was very good. They took old ones away too.
