We visited this restaurant last night. The views from the balcony are lovely if you discount the by pass below! Was very impressed by the meal, we opted for the 'set' meal at 65tl each (I know but Chinese is expensive here!) which consisted of soup or spring roll, then 4 dishes of your choice (some are excluded eg king prawn etc) plus egg fried rice and noodles.

We had Chinese Vegetable soup, sweet and sour chicken, beef in black bean sauce, BBQ pork and deep fried spicy beef. The portions were ample and it was all very tasty, will definately visit again! Drinks were fairly reasonable Efes and glass of wine both 8tl.

The manager tells us they have been open now for 2 and a half months and are hoping to do sushi in the near future.

The location is on the by pass coming from Lefkosia just before you go up the slip road to the roundabout to Girne.

Was that 8tl each for the Efes and wine?

Yes 8tl for fat bottle of Efes and 8tl glass of wine.

We went last week & maybe should have gone for the set menu but I wanted Ribs to start & the wife wanted Sesame Prawn toast so we went that route with a Main each . The two starters was 18 tl each which I could have lived with but there was 3 ribs , not the biggest in a minimum of sauce & two quarters ( half a slice of bread) of Prawn toast so was not chuffed with either , if they had been lovely again I would have been ok but they where 5 out of 10 in my book , the two mains where ok , about a 7 out of 10 , also had Noodles in honey & pork which was very nice , cost was 28 tl.
Might go back to try the set thing but if I'm going out for a meal I like to eat what I fancy not what I'm being pointed in the direction of . I used to go there a long time back b4 it shut & I think it was far better then , Its the same guy running it as b4 but the Chefs , I'm thinking not .

Total bill 2 x starter & 2 main plus noodle dish , bottle of Red (45 from memory) & a carlsburg was 170 odd tl. If it all lovely I'd be back again no problem but I will give them a another go but avoid the starters .
