New to Cyprus- advice or guidance needed

Good morning to all. I have been reading this site since moving to Cyprus about 2 months ago. There is a lot of useful information available for people like me who have just moved here. We are living in Catalkoy about off the main road near the Cratos

I moved here with my daughter who is 8 and attending school here. We are both Americans and have moved here from Istanbul. She speaks both English and Turkish I am looking for advice on where to find the following if such things are available.

1. Someone available to review and assist with my daughters English homework for about 2 hours on Sunday's when I am out of town.

2. Transportation for my nanny probably 2x per week up to 2 hours each time when I am out of town. The nanny needs to pick up my daughter from her after-school activities in the afternoons. The nanny does not drive and only speaks Turkish and the driving would be small errands around the Girne/Catalkoy/Bellapais area.

Any help or guidance from the members here would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Jeff

For 1. I would ask at the school, they will most likely know of any teachers who provide additional tuition.
For 2. I would ask for recommendations for a reliable safe taxi service in your area... many are far too prone to unsafe manoeuvres but there are some who get a mention for their courtesy and good driving.
