We use large sheets of cardboard and cover them in baking foil, which can be changed when it gets worn.

Don't forget you'll need sticky backed plastic and a packet of pipe cleaners to finish off the job.

That's not a bad idea did you notice the difference ?? If they don't sell it in NC I'm gonna put some in a golf bag and bring it out next time I'm over.

Yes, it worked well until the price of gas made it to expensive to use. We now use a large Japanese parafin heater which is very good and heats the house throughout but we live in a ground floor flat in Girne.
