Sea point.
Have been on many Fridays for the foreign residents get together ( which is nothing like the BRS thank god.) and enjoyed the ambience and outlook. Went with three friends to eat and what a wonderful experience. Calamari main thick chunky rings that were light and soft lightly battered. Jack Daniels butterfly chicken breast grilled to perfection.and fish and chunky chips the fish again done in a thin light batter.. Excellent service and fairly priced. All in all a pleasant afternoon and I will be going again for the rack of baby ribs. It's a fair drive from central girne but the standard of food in the town has dropped . No14,ikimiz,rocks. And effendis excepted.
The fourth person has just recovered from cancer and has a problem swallowing so had a made up spaghetti bolognaise with loads of sauce to enable him to swallow the staff were understanding and went out of their way to accommodate him. Thanks sea point.

It's next to Calamari (sea side) on the Lapta strip.

We went there yesterday just for a drink and were hoping to return for a meal. We had one small and one large shandy which cost 13tl. Thought that this was a bit excessive so did not bother asking to see the menu.

Chandy always a problem it's 8ytl for a large beer 5 ytl for a small one lemonade in the small bottles is the same price as beer in most places'. I don't think they open the large bottles of lemonade there. Most of the courses are around 20 to 26 ytl so you may find it too expensive I think their steak is right up to 32ytl

On the Shandy front you will normally find if a bar had draft beer it will be the same or very close to a normal pint , if they give u a can of 7 up that us normally 4/5 Tl plus your beer price hence it seems expensive , so if u are worried look to see if the bar u are in sells draft .

We ate here last week and thoroughly enjoyed the food and it has a lovely sea view. One sea bass (26tl), which had a lot of "meat" on it and was really tasty and a mixed kebab (34tl) which was also very good. The staff were lovely too and we had complimentary Turkish coffees. No complaints at all from us. We will go back.
