I guess you all know us so no need to introduce what we do or what we are, anyone is is not aware please look for our Facebook group. hope 4 Pets North Cyprus,

With the news in the Cyprus Today and as you all know the coming compounds, I would like to say that we have a number of meetings set up with different Belediyesi in the area, we have been working hard in Famugusta the first compound that we were aware of, ! There have been lots of difficulties to cover come , and they are getting sorted thank goodness, We do not want to see other compounds with the same problems and our aim is to help in some way if we can with ensuring the next compound with be organised with a more professional approach,

Therefore we are putting out an SOS for people who CARE to become foster families, not for the Gamugusta compound as we have been doing on the Facebook the past month,,But for the two local ones next to be up and running very soon, ? .?

We need foster home to enable that all the street dogs get to be treated with all injections, to be neutered, and to be microchipped ,, all before they can then get moved on,, 1, either onto the new built,Hope to,be organised compounds,
That need to have staffing, shelter, food, and Vets that are dedicated to the care of these dogs,,

Or onto forever homes, that we HOPE. Would be the better option, we do have many foster Mums,,Families who have been working hard with us for,the past month, but for this to work with great success we need more,,there is no fear that many of you might feel you will be left with these dogs,,,this,will not be the case as there is and will always be,,,The compounds, ! ,! As we always do we offer support,,we offer to cover cost you might have,,and we offer forever homes,,yes we do,, and yes we have with 2 going to the UK when ready, wow you might think,and yes so did we , this is working and it will if we all pull together,,,if the ones that care instead of complain or judge get I to action and help,,,We need all the help we can get , in the HOPE of this to work, KAR are aware of our hopes and we will be working together with this in some aspects,

Hi all just to inform you that today myself and another H4P group member Aylin had a meeting with the Alsancack Mayor,

This meeting was very good in saying that he is in agreement with our vision, He is seeing this as a way forward, and is happy to work also g side us to ensure all the street dogs,, there will be no further need to worry with regards to the dogs still on the street,
He has asked that we draw up a plan for,the new compound and once he gets these he will ensure the work is carried out to our required wishes,
He is also in a far better understanding on how all animal lovers bring their clean,good healthy dogs into the family as part of the family,,it was explained that this bring about loving concerned children for the next generation, and how this approach can banish the street dog problem here in NC,
He was also surprised at the many people in lovolved and willing to support and help in the need for the coming compound to be organised and all care given to the EU requirements,

We look forward to supporting the new to be established compound in Alsancak,

And from all on the Facebook Group, and all the concerned animal lovers living here in North Cyprus,

We thank the Mayor of Alsancak Firat Ataser for the meeting this morning, and the positive results that came from it,

That sounds very encouraging. Let's hope that when KAR m,eet with the Mayor that even more channels are opened up to helpsolve the problem.

However, one question (and maybe tongue in cheek) , you talk about the compounds and working with the Mayor on this - who is going to clear the compounds daily of excretia. I know this was a HUGE prob lem for BARK at Famagusta. Will this be done by volunteers of H4P or by municipality workers.

And another point is that although yu say the Mayor is sharing your vision - and I am sure he is cos he sounds a super bloke, I wonder how much money is in the kitty to employ the necessary workers involved, or does it mean that our rates will go up?

We urgently need foster homes for two pups that we have rescued and were taken into temporary foster care so now need new foster carers or even better permanent homes.

Overheads will be covered eg food, vet costs and we guarantee that no foster carer will be landed with any pup, unless they want to keep it of course!

Please consider helping one of these pups cos their alternative is to go back to the compound which is no place for a puppy.

Just wanted to bring up again, these two little puppies. The white one has been fostered for 3 weeks now in a loving family home. He has made best friends with the cats and other dogs in the house and the children of the family have been hands on with him. Unfortunately due to circumstances, certainly not his fault we do need to find him ideally his own home but if need be another foster home that will take him for a longer period. Food bills and vet bills will be paid for, no problem!

The other little one the black one who is known at Master No Name has not had such a good start in life. His Mum deserted him and his brother and we thought we had found him a home but the lovely lady took his brother as he was the weaker one! Sadly Master No Name was left behind again! He is being kept safe and fed at the moment but not in ideal conditions as you can see from the pictures. If anyone has the heart and room in their home for this little one, whether it would be as a foster family or dare I say it - A family of his very own, please contact me.

Good news everyone. This morning the little white puppy was picked up by his new foster family and taken to his new foster home where he is now happily settled in with his new big brother. There are some lovely pictures of him on our Facebook Page if you would like to see him.
We are still working on trying to help the little black puppy, Master No Name,but we do need to try and get better pictures of him as he is quite a handsome boy! The picture does not show him up very well.

I saw this little fellow via Skype as my friend is fostering him at the moment. He also has a big sister as well as brother. He was fast asleep whilst we talked and them he woke up, he is gorgeous. I am hoping he will have a forever home there (we will both work on her husband, but I think he is already smitten!!!)

Just wanted to give an update on the H4P Group, It now has 1,153 members and growing daily,

It's a fantastic community of frindly supportive members , who have helped many many dogs and cats since it started out back in January this year, so it will very soon be one year old,

The group supports all street animals here and is now supporting the Leftkosa rescue shelter, All events are organised on behalf of the shelter and all monies collected are given to a shelter representative many attending the organised events,

The GoFund account that is Legal is being used to help the street dogs and anyone who is fostering, feeding or taking on a street dog, payments are made for Vets treatments and many donations of food too, With many members already having 4/ 5 dogs already and more, it's a great help to know that while they are helping they too receive help and support, No one member needs to feel alone on the group, many having lost dogs receive a great many supportive posting,
