Outline Planning Consent - How and where do you get it?

Hi,

I have had some land in Karsiyaka for 11 years now and was considering putting it up for sale. The land is One Donum, one Evlek and 770 sq ft. We have two separate Kocans for this, one in our daughters name and one in ours.

Our friend told us that before getting a valuation we should get outline planning permission to build 2 houses on the land.

We have absolutely no idea how to go about it - where even to enquire and how much it will cost.

Has anyone gone down this route please and if so, can we please have the benefit of your hindsight?

Go to the Kaymakanlik Dept in Girne and ask for Kerem.

It's the big building next to Girne hospital.

Is this the one we call the District Office?
