Result of the Veni Vici Pasta Marathon
A grand total of 10,400TL was raised for Tulips yesterday.
The target was a minimum of 500 meals but ideally Veni Vici wanted to hit 1,000 so with what was cooked and served yesterday plus some generous donations we received today we can say that the equivalent of 1,040 meals were sold!
We have so many people to thank:
Richard and Nadine (owners of Veni Vici) – for coming up with this fabulous idea and making it so successful
Veni Vici staff – all these guys worked for free for charity from 9.30am to …… (I don’t know what time they went home)
Perde Brown & Jeanie Lindsay – for donating their services to help raise more for Tulips
DJ Mike & Pam – for playing some fabulous music (including the Pasta Song) and filling the dance floor
Danny Bishop - for his 'free' labour in getting the garden ready for the dancing
Ileli Supermarket - for supplying all the food at cost price
Volunteers – you were all fantastic and all worked so well together - a fantastic team
Everyone who came – all the organising in the world would be useless if you did not support these events
Our sincere thanks go to everyone involved who made this happen!

Fantasmagoric. Just think how many people that wil help, and sadly just think how much more is needed ot help others! But to be positive, this is fantastic. And a huge thanks to the generosity of Veni Vici, PLUS OF OCURSE THE HARD WORK BY THE FEW TO HELP THEMANY!

Guess I should add my congratulations to Nadine and Richard, the staff of Veni Vici and all at Tulips who were involved in the event. Well done all. And a special thanks to Nadine for getting a couple of tiramisu's made for me and the 'misses' (at a suitably inflated charity price). We both had a very enjoyable evening. Thank you.
