Bayram dates?

There is a Bayram in October - does anybody know the dates of this please?

Yes It's Friday the 3rd til tues the 7th. Back to normal on wed the 8th.

Will the banks be closed on the Friday ..
I read somewhere it was Monday 6th & Tuesday 7th ..

The first day of Kurban Bayram (Arifesi) is Friday 3rd and last day is Tuesday 7th... The banks will be closed on the 3rd.. and they may well close early on the second as they normally do in these circumstances.

Fri 3rd banks, goverment buildings and schools will still be open but some may close half day then everything will be back to normal on wed 8th.

With the weekend using up two days, should not be much of an inconvenience. They don't get two days in lieu, they seem to have missed that trick.

I have a Turkish calendar which shows only Monday & Tuesday as holidays ..
Knew I had seen it somewhere ..

Don't know about the other banks but mine - TEB - is open until early afternoon on Friday.
