Silver rocks

I see today that as from this week Silver Rocks will be closed on a Wednesday. Thought would save a journey for anyone wanting to go on a Wednesday.

Thanks for that. Great to know. Went the other day and it seems he has all new staff, or else the regulars have finally been able to take a holiday.

One of the waiters told me that they're staying open until new year and not closing from November

I spoke with Savas and they will decide at end of December what they will do, just trying the closing for one day. Couple of staff have gone on holiday, at moment do not need as many as the summer. 3 there today that have been there a while.

If they're remaining open until end of December, does that mean they will be having Christmas dinner this year?

My question too. I guess the only way to find out is to ask them. So whoever gets there first please ask and post.

Have asked them, and the answer is YES -- they will be opening for Christmas, so those who've been waiting and hoping, get your bookings in .

Thanks for that. Might try it - but it will have to be a good time for him downstairs! Hmmm. I expect an organization or two will have a Christmas carols./grub 'do'.

Bit early for all this Christmas talk!!! when we haven't even had bonfire day
