Pink Weekend!

At the Corner House, Ozankoy, we are joining in the fun and doing our bit for Pink October and raising money for Tulips Cancer Charity.

The Famous 'Pink Friday' on October 24th, we will be having our normally happy hour quiz from 6pm, with a little twist to mix things up! Followed by card bingo, with lots of donations to the charity. Now, we know Pink October is all to raise awareness for breast cancer, but we don't want to men to feel left out. So on the Friday evening, we will have 5 gorgeous men, strutting their stuff on a catwalk, wearing Pink Dresses! If we can raise enough money from this event alone, a few of the guys have even offered to get waxed - ouch. So come and join us, and Pamper Yourself, and watch these 'Jocks in Frocks' get pampered and waxed!

I'm sure after the Friday night, everyone will be feeling a little delicate, and will want a more relaxed and civil day. So ladies, this is your chance to enjoy in style. We are holding an Afternoon Tea, with limited numbers, for a set price of just 40tl per lady, where you can come and drink tea, pink champagne, and eat smoked salmon and cream cheese sarnies! We will also provide a tarrot card reader for the afternoon, where for that little extra you can get your cards read, with all the money going to the charity.
But like i say, there is limited spaces, so its first come first served, so get booking.

Now for our big finally on Sunday 26th October. We will be holding our Bikers, Burgers and Beers bike expo! We will be closing off the road as usual, and setting up the big stage, to be entertained by none other than Blue Tears! There will be plenty of food, beer and other things on sale all day. We are even trying to get the bikers to wear little bits of pink to help support such a great cause! So join us on the 26th October from 12pm, for a great day of Bikers, Burgers and Beers!

There will be plenty of ways to donate throughout the weekend and even the whole month. We will have raffle tickets on sale, in the bar and in Cafe Boss for the big draw on Sunday Afternoon, and we are also selling the lovely Pink and Black T-shirts, and keyrings in the bar all month!

Don't forget you can always just make a donation, as every little helps, and this is such a great cause!

All monies have come in for our Pink Weekend, and we are proud to announce that the total raised for the 3 day event is a whopping 7327tl!
We can't say a big enough thank you to everybody who helped in anyway big or small. Efes for sponsoring Sundays doo, i can truly say we all enjoyed your beers! Everybody who donated raffle prizes - Cafe Boss, Wines of the World, Colony Hotel, Catalkoy Home and Gardens, Best Sellers. A massive thanks to Pamper Yourself who had the unfortunate job of cleaning up our 'ladies', and of course to the 7 brave men who dressed to impress. Our lovely Suzie who read the stars for our lucky ladies,Tracy who kept the crowd entertained and to anyone else who i have missed out. Of course the biggest thank you goes to The Tulips Ladies, Carole and Sue, who without them we would be lost! Well done to everyone who donated in anyway, you done us proud - again!
