i player download problem, is there a solution?

When I download a series on i player there is always one episode that will not allow a download. Why is this and is there a solution? Erol can you help please?
Currently I am unable to download episode 2 of The Fall, all the other episodes have successfully downloaded.
Only seem to have had this problem since installing IOS 8.1 upgrade.
Had previously had to delete and reinstall i player is this the way to go again?

Delete and re-load iPlayer - you can save off any programs you have downloaded first and copy them back to your target directory (I take it that the target directory is not full?) Then when re-install and you re-download them iPlayer will recognise that the good downloads are already there.

As Season 2 doesn't start until Nov 13th, I presume you are talking about series 1 of the Fall.

Why I-player? The full series has been available as a torrent since December last year e.g.:-

I have a problem as most times I download it's stops with i mb still to download and says paused it will go no further. I have deleted and tried again always stops in the same place.
