Recommendations for doctor/practice for pregnancy

Hi all,

I'm new here and would really appreciate some advice regarding doctors/practices or private hospitals where I can go during pregnancy and for the birth. Preferably someone who speaks good English (but will consider anyone based on recommendations)

I'd like to hear of any experiences good or bad that might help point me in the right direction please

Hi, I went with Jinamer in Kyrenia. The lady doctor speaks great English and looks after you great.

I believe hs.mummy is talking about Jinomer Clinic run by Dr Meryam. She is really lovely, speaks English and I know will look after you very well.

I go to Ramadan Tunççevik. Its just him and his wife and they both speak good English, I have been seeing him since August due to really bad morning sickness and I ended up in hospital on a drip and then anti sickness injections twice a day. He was recommended to me by 2 friends who had problems at other practices.

His number is 0392 815 0800 and he is based behind Altinkaya hotel on the way to Bellapais.

Try near East hospital "has a very good reputation and full package for women".
Check the "Near East Hospital" website and make an informative decision. (Google it)
As for the Direction and phone number to the Near East , all described clearly on the "contact us".
Staff speak good English". Interpreter can be allocated to assist you and translate each step & procedures.

The doctor at Etik hospital was good for my wife and I. The doctors at Cyprus Life in Lefkosa (as is Etik) are apparently the top choice among most of the locals but I don't know about their English.

make sure you discuss birth means from an early stage, which doesn't mean they won;t change it last minute.

The norm here is caesarian, probably so the Docs' don't get woken at night or called in at weekends.

If you want a natural birth, and of course than is no-one on here's business, this may not necessarily be the best place for you.

I can highly recommend Salih Beyoğlu who is chief physician in Government Hospital in Kyrenia and also he is working in Kyrinea private hospital.

I have two child and l got help from him all the time.
