UK passport renewal

Does anyone have any recent information on turnaround times for passport renewals sent via DHL/Cafe Boss?

The web site says 3 weeks and theres been no reports of there being problems since the summer mess
I believe that if they have a recent driving licence picture they use that for the passport or visa versa
I did my last one on line the forms came though and I signed and returned the forms passport through a week or so latter

i sent mine off on the 28th of last month and got a call last night from a cargo company saying they had two packages for me which there going to deliver today so that makes my application 3 weeks and 1 day i think that's excellent

Hi Andrew. Did you send your passport via café boss? If you dont mind me asking, how much was the postage charge?

yes i sent it via cafe boss and they charge 35€ but am sure you can send it via any cargo company

Hi all, my passport is due for renewal and have just looked at Gov. website, can anyone clarify if the residency stamp in your passport is enough or do they require an official document that states your address as the residency stamp does not.
