I can see that a lot of people have viewed this but there are no answers as to who or where these doctors are.

Maybe if you get intouch with Chris, she used to be nurseawful on C44, she has an extensive list of contacts and she may well be able to point you in the right direction.

Good luck!

Hi Mandcoo,

Dr Hasan Sav
Address of Clinic : 13/Yahya Kemal Sk., Köşklüçiftlik, Lefkoşa
Tel : 2282272 2273545

http://www.kibris.net/kktc/saglik/docto ... iklari.htm

We think you might have spelt the other doctor's surname incorrectly and neither I nor my TC wife can work out what it should be.

If you need directions to Dr Sav's clinic, then please ask

Hi Mandcoo

My husband has visited Dr Sav many times - he is good and speaks good English. The downsides are that 1) his secretary doesn't speak English and 2) he only has evening hours which makes it a hassle to get to his office during rush hour.

We have now switched to the Near East University Hospital (near the University in Lefkosa). It's easy to get to, the staff and doctors speak English (as well as all the signage being in English and Turkish), they have all the best up to date testing equipment and you can usually get an appointment within a day or two of calling. An initial consult with a doctor is 80TL and test cost about the same as anywhere else here. You don't need a referral either - we just called in one day to make an appointment with a Neurologist and he saw us then with no appointment!!

Phone number there is 0392 444 0535 or 0392 675 1000 or look at their website - http://www.neareasthospital.com

I think the spelling is Dr Osman Koseogullari. Both doctors have been highly praised on Cyprus44.com which although closed for comment, the forum is still operative and can be used for seeking information. Hope this helps. Regards, Mrs Snakes.

Re : "Could you please reply with the directions?"

Here goes then Mandcoo :

- Coming from Girne you first come to the big Gönyeli roundabout.
- Go straight at that roundabout and indeed straight on at the next rounabout and all the traffic-lighted junctions for a further 3km
- After the said 3km from the big Gönyeli roundabout you'll see the big Önder Supermarket on your right.
- 200 metres after Önder you should move to the middle of the road to turn right (ie. first right after Önder)
- After literally 25 metres on that road (in which you will pass the Kıtır Kebap place) you will turn right again
- After 150 metres on this road (in which you will pass the prime minister's "Küçük Aparmanı" on your left) you will turn left (ie. the first left) on to Yahya Kemal Sokak
- Dr Sav's clinic is number 13 on that street

By the way, just to make sure the clinic is still on Yahya Kemal Sokak I just called the first number (0392 228 22 72) and indeed it is still there.

Geçmiş Olsun ...
