Please, can anyone tell me what WFP represents when connected with a credit?

I maybe wrong but I think it's World Food Programme. Due to the Ebola outbreak it was suggested that everyone who held a bank account or Mobile would be asked to donate £5. I had this on my mobile by way of a message and you text your reply "ye or ne"

In what context have these initials appeared, does it look like money has been deducted or are they asking? As I say it could be a wrong guess.

Just reading again I must be wrong because you are saying credit, has money been credited then?

It is probably your winter fuel payment.
I believe they are due around about now.
I apologise if I am mistaken and you are not old enough to receive this.

Make the best of it, I was told by that dept last year that they are stopping it for all expats from 2015 World wide!! I think it was also muted in the press as well.

They have also suggested removing the tax allowance for expats. My government pension is taxable in the UK, but is below the tax allowance.

This move would mean that every penny of my pension would be taxed.

KP, that is one aspect that has really me agitated. Between us we pay UK tax on 6 pensions (some very minor per month and just about pays the pool man). We will really feel a chill if they do stop tax allowance on pensions and yes I suspect this will be last year for WFA. Have been chucked out of the NHS, don't have any grandchildren at state school, don't drive on roads, don't have a bus pass, don't have any UK handouts and yet once again we're going to be clobbered.
