BBC Radio 2 request

Coming home from work this afternoon(UK) I was listening to "Steve Wright in the afternoon" and a request came through from Rose & Tony in North Cyprus.

So just to say wherever you are Rose & Tony, your request got through and I heard it loud and clear and Steve Wright said hello. Not very often you hear North Cyprus mentioned on the radio, so well done and I hope you see this message

Mickyron, she had put uk in brackets. Take it you are here, no chance of radio 2 on your car radio. I heard the request too, was listening on my ipod.

Agreed, but perhaps not in his car! - well, not unless he's going to use his 'phone and connect via 3G

However, it occurs to me that he might have a Japanese car radio in an imported Japanese car, with restricted bandwidth on the radio - and there was a discussion of that issue here...

It still won't give him Radio 2 in the car, but he'll get a darn sight more than he has got now!
