Friends arrived Tuesday night from Heathrow to Ercan with Turkish airlines but the luggage didnt. They were given a printed sheet with contact numbers. Yesterday they were called luggage found and it was delivered to the Malpas for them to collect.

My neighbours had the same thing last week, they flew from Manchester & their luggage took 3 days to catch up with them. Come on Turkish Airlines, sort yourselves out.

Think yourselves lucky, I had an 18 hour delay last year with Pgs, my luggage did not turn up and I was told it would be in on the late flight and if I did not collect it from ECN that night I would be charged storage. The CAA are still trying to get compensation out of pgs a year 8 months later!
Some are wise and some otherwise.....

When we came back in June this year we were delayed getting through passport control and when we got to the luggage carousel one of our bags was still going round with another similar to ours but lacking our bright red ribbon marker. Went to the Pegasus lost luggage office who were very good opened the other case but no clues as to owners whereabouts in TRNC! However filled out their form and told to ring them in a couple of hours. The following day they rang to say our case had been returned and we could call and collect it, good service all round. When I went to the Pgs office to collect, there was our case with BRIGHT RED ribbon still attached makes you wonder.
Retired in the TRNC - now also retired in the UK
