Strange icon on address bar

Has anybody else suddenly acquired a new icon on their address bar? It is a small box containing A yellow triangle with exclamation mark and the word "You". If you click on it, asks if you want to "go icognito or switch person". Something to do with Gmail but I am unable to find out what precisely. Won't let me delete either. Help would be appreciated

Got the same thing myself muffin so would be interested when you get the answer, bit wary of pressing anythink myself!

Have managed to find out what this is. If you open it and click on the camera in the middle Google will ask you to log in. So it is connected to the Google browser. But why it has suddenly come up I still haven't worked out.
