University's water bill may lead to water being cut off

Apparently Lefkoşa Belediyesi are owed 19 million TL in unpaid water bills, 3 million of which is owed by Near East University ... and if the university's bill is not paid within 5 days their water will be cut off.

Quite right too why should they get away with not paying private customers would have been cut off long before I am sure.

Universities, large hotels and Belediye themselves consider themselves above the law when it comes to untility bills.
