Felt I had to share this, as we have just had the most fantastic meal at I Belli. Sunday lunch was spit roast suckling pig Sardinian Style. I have never tried it before but always wanted to. It was out of this world. I know some people have said that i Belli is a bit pricey, I don't agree, you have to pay for quality and that's what you get. Emiliano was also making pizzas, as Sunday night is Pizza night. These are proper Italian Pizzas, and coming from an Italian family and visiting Italy many times I have to say, it beat flippin Pizza Hut......and Manipeni's hands down. It is a lovely restaurant, very well done, and perfect service........in fact, you could be in Italy. And I daresay some will say, well, why aren't you.........well that's the next plan for the future. lol.

The suckling pig roast was 60 lira each with veg. You get a free little starter of the best chicken liver pate I have had in a long time.....apart from the one I make myself lol! It costs as much as you want overall, good wines, grappa, proper expresso coffee.......I don't think you can put a price on quality anyway. Have to say we went to Niazi's last night, which many people rave about, over priced, poorly cooked, tiny portions and frozen chips which were overdone........need I say more. The main meal there, which I had, was a Kleftico and cost 38 tl for a potato, a roasted onion.....and yep, a lamb shank......oh sorry, yes there was a green pepper on there as well.......If you want something special and different I Belli is the place. They also do rabbit dishes. It's just something different to kebabs......

Hi Kedikat, it is in the old Turkish Quarter. Used to be Sele Restaurant up until a few years ago. It has it's own car park which is a bonus! If you turn left going into town, opposite the Law Courts, then you will see the signs for it. Ikimiz is around the corner and 14 is close by too. Hope this helps.

What a lovely positive posting. I also need to add that Caterina and Emilano are very kind people and have generously donated a meal for two persons at İ Belli restaurant. This is for the North Cyprus Cancer Charity Trust at our Bazaar on Saturday the 13th December at The Pia Bella in Girne.

Amazing restaurant, top quality food, home made pasta just like the momma used to make and fantastic people. Like everything you get what you pay and this is definitely worth it.
