Holiday road cycle hire, where....?

Hi

My brother-in-law will be joining us next summer and is a keen road cyclist. Rather than bring over his own bike as the cost will be prohibitive, he is keen to know if it is possible to hire carbon-frame road bikes anywhere in NC. We will be Lapta based. He will bring over his cycle helmet, peddles etc.

Can anyone provide road cycle hire info please?

Try http://www.kyreniamountaintrail.org. Haven't used them but have looked at their web site for info on walks etc. They had a section on bicycling too.

Thank you very much for the links. It is road bike hire my brother-in-law is keen to track down. So far he has made contact with some of those hiring out off-road bikes in NC, but not road bikes, unfortunately. It is early days, we will keep looking and seeking info from forum members. Can anyone remember the name of the bike shop in Alsancak on the main road, where the gym now is?

If so they have 2 shops in Lefkosa and I seem to remember someone telling me that they sometimes hire out bikes.

If you look at Turkish Airlines you may be happy to bring your bike for an extra 30 Euros! That must be cheaper than bike hire here?
