Arcelik Service
I've just had Arcelik out to repair a faulty 9 year old dishwasher. A strange fault, once it got going all the lights went out and it stopped - then started again for 3 or 4 seconds and then stopped for 3 or 4 seconds ad infinitum.
Called it in yesterday (0392 444 7777) about 3pm and was told that it would be today although no time could be given because cookers and fridges/freezers always had priority - but they would phone before they came. They called me at 9:45 and arrived at 10:05. The 2 guys were excellent, spoke good English, understood and diagnosed the problem in a couple of minutes, agreed the cost with me, fixed it in 5, tested it for 15 and left with a handshake and a smile.
Absolutely couldn't find fault with any part of the experience. Well done Arcelik.

Re: Arcelik Service
I second that, their after service has never let me down - I can never understand anyone contacting other people for any arcelik item apart from them. They seem to have items on the van especially when you give the model number.

We also received service from them that was second to none and very very reasonable, Service far better than I had ever got in the UK.
I would not hesitate to buy their products. I don't know how true it is but the guys who came out to us from Arcelik told me that they manufacture a lot of equipment for the top names inc. Bosch.

Yes had them out twice for different appliances and both times faultless service.

Arcelik after sales service/repair is first class. The guy even took me through his diagnosis process.

Re: Arcelik Service
Sorry to be the Odd one out!
Our experience was totally opposite to all the previous postings.
Our top of the range fridge/freezer we bought only months before from them became black inside - gross!
Their engineer came out, borrowed cloths and wiped some off and then diagnosed nothing wrong. He then went back to the shop and reported a candle had been lit in the fridge/freezer. We took the cloths to the shop as proof and tried to talk nicely - nothing!
We then asked a Cypriot friend to telephone to the head office and plead our case. After a few days and lots of heated talking they reluctantly agreed to take ours back and replace with a new one.
The engineers that brought this one out were disgusted that the appliance had still got its 2 pin plug which had been forced into our 3 pin socket. They changed the plug on the new appliance and fitted it correctly and their attitude with us was different again to the first engineers.
We would avoid buying again from them as to be honest we do not need or want such unpleasantness. If we had not been able to have a Cypriot speak for us we would have been stuck with a dodgy fitted fridge/freezer that could have gone up in smoke!
