Snakes at Al Shaheen at New year.

Thanks to the Al Shaheen team and Barry Snakes for a fantastic evening. Great food, great service, great music and great atmosphere. Loved the big party poppers wouldn't like to be clearing up after them though!!!
Made new friends and celebrated with old friends; a fab start to the new year and happy birthday to Hsan on his New Year's day birthday, your last one as a teenager.

Sounds like a great night. I tend to find Mr. Snakes to be a little on the loud side myself. Perhaps I'm getting old!

OldDog In my early days of solo entertaining in NC I do admit to being on the loud side as I was purely Rock ! This style of music needs to be at a high volume ! However, realising the need to widen my repertoire I have downsized my equipment (and volume) and play a wider range of music from Micheal Buble to Coldplay ! However, I still have not included any Rat Pack or crooning as I think there's enough of that already ! Kind regards Barry

Pleased to hear that you wont be introducing any crooning Barry. Thoroughly enjoyed all the new songs (and the usual ones) at New Year such a great range of diverse music there really was something for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks Mishmash ! had a lot of encouragement to expand my "nostalgia" set which I played whilst people were eating. Some tried to sing along with disastrous results, food everywhere ha ha, ! But it did produce a super "all together now" atmosphere regards Barry
