Advice wanted re pool infection
Hope there is an expert out there who can help. About 18 months ago my problem started and it is a green mould growing on the grouting of the pool walls. It brushes off easily and settles on the bottom as a green or brown dust. I have tried everything I can think of to get rid of it and in 2014 I even put two lots of 35 Litres of shock chlorine in which solved the problem for a couple of weeks. It's not only me that has it, my neighbour 100 yards away also has it. The water in the pool is crystal clear and in addition to acid and granular chlorine, we both use a product called Brightener from one of the pool supply companies. Am now at a loss as to what to do next -b any ideas please?

Green algae is always a sign of inadequate sterilizer (Chlorine) level. What's your Free, not Total, Chlorine level and your Cyanuric Acid level?
