At least the Goverment is going to re-Imburse those who have tickets. Unlike those who were left high & dry when Atlasjet took over when CTA folded & then just stopped their Stansted flights. No refunds offered.

Not really the same situation however that said have you put your case to the CAA, it takes a lot of time but there are strict rules regarding flying in and out of Europe.
Some are wise and some otherwise.....

This is not what was said, quote "The company has ceased being a viable entity, and cannot continue to operate," said finance minister Harris Georgiades.
He said there would be alternative arrangements covering Cyprus Airways flights from Saturday.
