The University of Mediterranean Karpasia opens its doors

For the academic year 2012-13 the university will be housed in a building in Lefkoşa, but is hoping to build a campus elsewhere (presumably in the Karpaz region). It will start off with three faculties; Law, Tourism and Management.
There are currently five other universities in the TRNC, but two Turkish universities also have campuses here.
