looking for good logs supplier

Had 2 cubic metres(not Tonnes) from a chap in Yesiltepe.very good 90% hardwood (carob,eucalyptus).Sevat 05428579360.450TL. he also does larger load for 750TL.By the way,he uses same size truck as the ones who allegedly say 2 tonnes.

Had an inverter A/C unit fitted via TRNC Vaughan back end of the summer, now using it in heating mode in the lounge, works very well.

Assuming I have a 12,000 unit on making it cooler, for 1 hour at 21 degrees, whilst the temperature is a lot higher outside, will it cost more, less, about the same to have the same air con giving heat at 25 degrees whilst it is a lot colder outside?

If it does cost more, or less, by what percentage will it be?

I have tried to think of all the info you may need, but I bet you need more. Like do you open any doors or windows when the ac is on? Or, do you move about more with the ac on in the summer/winter when the AC is on? Do you wear more or less clothes, etc, etc.

I know AC units take out moisture making the air feel cooler in the summer, but how does the heating part work? Is it just like a blower heater? Sorry, you lot are better informed than Google!

Assuming you read what I said about heat pumps and their CoP, you will know that in heating mode they are much more efficient than in cooling mode when the outdoor unit is just dumping heat and you are not using that heat, as you are in heating mode.
A/C units work just like a fridge, which are cold inside and hot outside (the cooling fins on the back). If you could make the fridge compressor run backwards, you'd have a heat pump and the inside would be hot and the fins would be cold.

Just a little consolidation info on the efficiency of aircon - inverters.
Although we have a log burner that runs 24/7 in the coldest part of the winter, like now, we use 2 of the aircon units, Diana's dressing room, and the kitchen on an as needed basis when the room is going to be in use. The warm-up time of the kitchen unit to bring the kitchen up to a comfortable temperature for breakfast is measured in minutes, and when set at 25C the unit switches down to tickover for at least 50% of its cycle. The cost of these we barely notice on the bill.
I think aircon has got itself a bad name is some quarters when run all day every day; any form of electrical heating will attract a bill, sometimes an unexpected one.
