This appears to work on the same principle as an electric shower. I have just successfully installed a 9.5Kw shower. So should work but you need to take advice for the electrical connections.

Yes of course it will work, you need to be reminded that this appliance is 9.5 KW which in laymans terms is 40 Amps @ 240v.
You will have to have a new larger cable installed capable of carrying 40+amps suggest 6mm and a 45amp double pole isolation switch.

Hope this helps you with your decision.

Whilst on the subject, has anybody had an undersink instant hot water heater fitted? They only heat the water as and when you need it, so ideal for' a bathroom sink that is a long way from the boiler and takes an age to get any warm water, or one that is supplied by a rooftop tank and requires an hour of pre-heating with an emersion. Drives me mad to have to wash and shave in cold water first thing in the morning, rather than heat up a massive rooftop tank. I am considering bringing one back from the UK. Would love to know if you can get them here, and whether they are any good. Reviews on Amazon seem to vary wildly.

Carbo tech.
Go careful on sugesting cable sizes etc!

Even on just a 5 metre run you would need a 10 mm cable which ever reference method you use. Also you need the correct protection for the cable (properly rated mcb) and for personnel protection earthing and rcd.

Not a dig just an observation
