Post for last Christmas or next?

13th January and today received very clearly addressed card posted in UK on 21st November, received in Lefkosia 27th November. What happened in the period in between? How can the Lefkosia sorting office justify sitting on mail for this length of time?

I have just had a message from my post office to say I have parcels there that were posted in the UK in October and more xmas cards too. The postal system here just can not seem to cope with anything, the worst part being if you have to collect a parcel from the Girne main post office!

Had a strange envelope/card yesterday in PO box. The address was absolutely spot on, code number, the works. However it had no stamps indicating Lefkosa or Girne or Karaoglanoglu, but someone had written from corner to corner in large letters TRNC. A new one on me!!
