No!
Have you checked the 'goodness' of your internet connection?
You can do it easily if you are with Multimax by clicking here or otherwise by using the OOKLA speed tester here...
If you find that your connection is poor, then switch all the equipment off, including the little power pack thingy that supplies the 'aerial', count to 20, kick it , and turn it all back on.
If that doesn't cure it, ring your internet service provider!

Owl Lady , switch everything off at wall socket , wait a minute and switch back on, works for me and you don't have to go out in cold to the pool

Same as you Owl Lady, the speed from Multimax is fine - Download 12.73 and Upload 2.96 but the buffering on Iplayer is dreadful and could only listen to the Iplayer radio, yesterday. It was great to listen to a few Episodes of The Navy Lark though. Only those of us of a certain age will know what I'm talking about!!

lilnrob. If you go on to Iplayer radio and then click on to comedy an then go through the complete list you can find Navy Lark, The Huggets, Round the Horn, Hancocks Half Hour, Dr in the House etc. There was even a comedy programme that went back to 1942!!

Owl Lady: Put BBCiplayer in your search line. This should bring up a range of BBC options. Very top, towards the right it Radio (may take a few secs to appear). Click on that and you will all the radio stations etc. I find it easiest to look by category, Navy Lark under Comedy. But it has a search box if you know exact name of programme. Be patient its all very complicated and I have found things through trial and error over a number of years.

You should be able to get Radio because unlike TV you dont need a licence even if you live in the UK, TV may depend on your ISP, but I get it on ,Listen Again but not live , which doesnt bother me as I get to watch when I want to ,, not UK timed programmes!
Have you got a router (a little plastic box wwith a tiny aerial and flashing lights) which lets you use computer anywhere in the house. I have had several problems with mine, they are sensitive little things and dont like thick stone walls.
TV does buffer a lot , but iplayer actually improved when NTV was mended. Last few days has been very erratic and earlier this evening would nnot connect at all. Maybe the weather, connection through Turkey or erratic electric current at the base station. My lights keep dimming.
This weather does put a lot of pressure on the electric services and probably a lot more people are staying at home using devices heavy on the
bandwidths and the ISP s are reducing speed temporarily.. I am giving it a day or two before contacting Multimax, but should love to hear from them if they want to come in her.

PS Radio has also buffered a bit the last two days, which doesnt normally happen, suggests a general problem.
