To put to bed this ridiculous topic once and for all, this is my original post, my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. As for bottoms, backsides or any other related descriptions, these were actually mentioned by tomsteel and later hedgefund.certainly not me, I don't believe I bullied anyone nor do I feel the need to apologise for anything that I have said.

Topics like this make me so angry, it is so patronising and condescending. The majority of parents do teach their children to speak properly but there are of course regional accents to be taken into account which naturally will affect the way youngsters speak.
We have friends from Liverpool, extremely intelligent and highly educated people, who speak with a strong Liverpudlian accent, for goodness sake, so long that we can understand what is being said what is the problem.
This forum is becoming far too serious or people have nothing better to do than try to show their superiority


If RR wishes to make anything more of it she is perfectly entitled to. but I feel that to do so will make her appear very silly and churlish.

RR - I do understand the use of their, there etc. Sometimes I make an error, I try not to but sometimes it happens. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things and I don’t really waste time worrying about it.

This forum is for all members to use and contribute as they feel fit.......I personally don’t think people have left because it is dull and boring but that is my personal opinion. The membership is very strong and growing. Buying and selling is a core part of the forum as from this revenue is generated - without this revenue from sellers, advertisers etc the forum would not be able to operate.

Constructive criticism and suggestions are encouraged. What is a concern are constant put downs about the forum, the layout, the way it works, members contributions or any of the moderators contributions or decisions. We have taken on board suggestions made by yourself and implemented them, but this seems not to have been appreciated.

I have said before that the forum will never please everyone but it works well for the majority and that is what matters.
