I'm certain they will. To an extent. UK products and services are already under massive pressure from worldwide competition and there are almost zero trade deals in place to facilitate less frictional trade that these deals support and encourage.

It is folly for any trader like the UK and indeed the EU to hinder or present obstacles of any form to doing that trade.
The EU is our largest customer. The UK has voted out and this will hinder the level of trade with this customer.

It will not be easy or an overnight fix to maintain a level of revenue that the UK has enjoyed past years,

The notion that many leavers have taken that the EU is some sort of Enemy is a sure way to become poorer.
