Esentepe Harbour

For the last week we have watched very large lorries taking huge concrete blocks down to the Esentepe Harbour, does anyone know what is happening there? It was rumoured several years ago that a water sports facility was going to be built there together with a small hotel and cafe but nothing became of this. Also there is a deep trench being dug behind the row of empty shops next to the Blue Dream Supermarket and it looks like a large concrete pipe is going to be laid. Can anyone shed any light on this?

I thought someone would have known what was going on and satisfy my curiosity.

Hi Kiplet,

Thanks for your reply, hubby has taken a walk down to the harbour to see what is going on and I will post his findings when he returns.

Will ask in Blue Dream Supermarket what is happening behind the shops, the owner seems to know most things.

TBW
It would be interesting to see what you can find out ?? a while back rumour was of a planned hotel being built Esentepe way ?? if this was true then it would be certainly be confirmed at planning dept.
