hı all

ı went to do my resıdency the other day.
they have been gıvıng me 6 month 3 tımes lıke that as they have to research your marrıage for cıtızenshıp ıf you got marrıed here to a turkısh cyprıot. and yes ı have and we have a chıld together.

now ı have been 2 tımes and paıd 115tl
ı went agaın for the 3rd tıme the other day and they say ı have to pay for the whole year thıs tıme for 227tl

even though everythıng ıs ready and ı have to collect papers and pay 70tl and take everythıng to Lefkoşa next month for the cıtızenshıp.
they saıd ıt has changed now.
so basıcally ı have just wasted Money for a whole year and they could of just gave me another 6 months really ıf everythıng ıs sorted.
strange.

does anybody know?

If you renew your passport then you should go to the immigration office in Lefkosa and they will transfer you stamp of residency to your new one,
