Local Taxi's-Esentepe

Hi All,

We haven't been in Esentepe very long so we're still finding our way around.

We have been booking a really good taxi transfer from Larnaca (Cemal from Esentepe Taxi's) who has been really good-£45 each way.

Sometimes we just want a taxi from restaurant to home but Cemal does a lot of airport runs and isn't available. I tried another Esentepe Taxi number but it was very expensive-it's only two kms from the site to Esentepe village and we were quoted 15TL each way-which is a darn site more then we'd pay in the UK.
We also used this 'other' Esentepe Taxi number to book to Ercan Airport-the quote was 150TL-more than we'd paid to be picked up from Larnaca.

Does anyone know of a reasonable taxi service around this area? I do think that roughly £5 (15TL) is a lot of money for a five minute 2km journey.
Or am I just a cheap skate????
