I really don't know how to word this, so will be brief. Pat died last Sunday after an operation which in itself was successful. Pat was the lovely friendly man who sold jewellery, gold and silver at Lamboussa market every Saturday. His death was very unexpected and a terrible shock to his family and friends, and is funeral will be held in Lapta tomorrow(Thursday) at 11am. Pat was not a religious man so the ceremony will not be a religious one. I am only saying this so people don't wonder why. Apologies if I have not worded this well, but am a loss as to what to say. Anyone wishing to come tomorrow will be more than welcome by Phylamina and Roger.

Thanks for the info , but who is conducting the ceremony. Harry Fellows or someone else?
Sadly I cannot be there, and I have not even found enough info to do a proper obituary (I was given aphone number but have not had time to make contact),however I would add my thoughts to everyone.l He was always pleasant, helpful and one of those people who is there seen and yet unseen. I know no more abut him than I did when I first met him, but nothing has changed my opinion through all that time in my belief that he was a lovley person. What a rotten, unexpected move to have him snatched away!

I just hope that those who are there tomorrow, will celebrate his life with thanksgiving for all he meant to them. And Ibet deep down, although he was not 'religious', he was as spiritual as anyone else. God deals with the soul, not any religion. RIP Patrick, I am personally very sorry I will not see you behind a market stall with a smile and kind words any more.
