Turkcell internet on Blackberry?

Hi I asked at the Turkcell kiosk in Lemar if I could get internet on my Blackberry but the answer was a resounding 'no'.
Does anyone know any different I was wondering if it would be worth going to their main shop. Thanks

I am not expert on Blackberry, never owned one, but;
I think you should be able to configure regular Internet subscription into a BB phone, it will just have a few limitations, such as not being able to use App World, Blackberry Messenger, GPS etc...

In order to use all these services, you need a special BIS account, which I think does not exist here.

Sorry Kemal have not quite understood you please can you say that again?? Do you mean by 'normal internet' my MM home internet? If so that does not help me get internet when away on holiday.

by 'regular Internet subscription', I meant 3g service from Turkcell.

As far as I know mobile providers need to sell special blackberry Internet packages for you to use your blackberry to its full extend.

Because this package does not exist in N.Cyprus, I thin this is why you got the 'no' answer from Turkcell.

What I am saying is that, it looks like there is a way to configure a 'regular Turkcell 3g' package to work on blackberry, just some functions wont work.

I am trying to answer your question, not to sell you Multimax
