Aptamil Baby Milk
Visitors coming with a small baby. They have asked if we have Apatamil First Milk ( liquid, not powder ) over here.
So, I am asking. Do we? If yes, please let me know where I can buy it.
It will save them so much room in their luggage.
Thanks.

Re: Aptamil Baby Milk
I have seen Aptamil in the supermarkets but never had reason to look to see whether it was powdered or liquid.
I will have a look tomorrow and get back to you.

Hi, you can only get the power here in the supermarkets. You might be able to get the chemist to order the liquid in but im guessing it would cost the earth to do so.
I know if there is a boots at the airport they travel from they can order it to pick up airside and then it will not come off there luggage allowance. We get my mum to do it all the time for us.
hope this helps x

That's quite true - by chance I was just chatting with Oero's import manager (Oero is the North Cyprus distributor of, amongst other things, Aptamil products) and she said they don't import the ready-to-drink form of First Milk. However, for babies more than 6 months old they do have the liquid milk here in North Cyprus.henry_vox wrote:You can only get the powder form here in the supermarkets.

Re: Aptamil Baby Milk
Sorry Butterflyaway, it turns out my Oero friend wasn't certain when she said they imported ready-to-drink Aptamil milk for babies aged 6 to 12 months: Unfortunately they only import the (ready-to-drink) Aptamil Junior Milk, which is for babies aged 12 months or more. It comes in the Tetrapak form as seen below.Butterflyaway wrote:The baby will be five months and 17 days when she arrives! Where can I get this ready to drink milk from?
In any case, sorry again for building up your hopes I hope you find some solution.

Re: Aptamil Baby Milk
Sorry your having bad look with finding the ready made milk.
Can the baby not change to the powder form just while they visit?
I had similar problem in turkey (non tourist area) and tried to find sma in the local shops and all I çould get was aptamil so I changed her just for that few days and she loved it! Actually likes it better and happy.
When I come back to Cyprus I went to the doctors for a routine control and explained that I had changed the milk he said no problem if baby is happy.
Just a thought maybe their doctor can advise if ok to change the milk to the powder form if you can't find?
Or maybe the south side?

Re: Aptamil Baby Milk
If all else fails, I will tell the parents the options. Maybe they could try their baby with the made up powder option for a few days and see what happens!
I will also look in the South.
Thanks again everyone.
