Laser eye surgery

Has anyone had laser surgery in North Cyprus? If so please can you tell me how it went and would you recommend it. Thanks

No but I go every year to Excimer Laser Centre for laser eye checks! They are in Lefcosia, speak excellent English and are more than happy to discuss any laser treatment with you. Sadly with my rugby ball shaped eyes, corrective laser treatment would do me no good at all and they were happy to tell me that and explain why! Give them a ring (0392 2291790) or go see them - Mehmet Akif Cad. Halil Cankan Apt., Kat:2 Daire:4, Lefkosa/KKTC.

My wife had laser surgery for partial detached retina about 6 months ago, fabulous service, high standard of care during and after, well ahead of the UK for performance and all done in an afternoon. Good luck, hope it's nothing serious but honestly the overall standard of medical care here is excellent. She attended Limasol eye clinic in Girne just off the golden gate roundabout..

Thank you for your replies. Just to clarify it is corrective laser treatment that I am thinking of having so that I don't have to wear contact lenses.

I had laser surgery in Lefkoşa and paid 3000tl for it including post surgery appointments. They offered me two different types of laser surgery here I opted for the more expensive one as it meant that later I could have the surgery again later in life if necessary as I am in my early twenties. I was very happy with the doctor and the treatment I received.

The doctors name is Mustafa Guvenir and was recommended to me by several turkish Cypriots many of which regard him as the best eye doctor on the island.
