Does anyone know what has happened to this company? Is it true that they are no longer in business? I have used them for years and they were always brilliant. Their phone lines seem to be out of action so I gather that they are no longer available as a travel company. If this is true then it is very sad. Any comments on this would be appreciated.

Thank you karmels for your post. I am really sad about it as they have been brilliant for me over the last ten years.

Have to agree, always good for me, but it seems when these companies start chartering airlines (Freebird in this case) it seems to go wrong.

It is very sad, but they all seem to overstreatch thier companies in the aftermath of a good season.
We have seen about 7 airlines come and go from the TRNC due to this factor, plus the presure in the early days from turkish Airlines who owned 51% of CTA who went to the wall due to over emplyment. Every time there was an Election more people would be employed BUT nobody go the push, people here will remember going out of Ercan and getting a coffee but there was no were to sit for badge holders from Ercan with nothing to do.
The sentiment is give me an office and I will find something to do or sell, but if it doesn't work I will not pay anything and move on.
