Re: Where to buy new laptop
Would recommend two places Southside, both from experience..
a) PUBLIC Technology Centre, top floor in the Ikea Mall, have bought Dell laptops and Samsung Tab3 there, their sale prices are very good, reductions of 25 - 30%% on specified lines.

b) On-line at Rolls Technology Store, order on line and pick up in person, near old Orphanides on way to the "Balls" roundabout. Found these to be cheapest for top brands, have used their repair/support service, 5 day turnaround, excellent and helpful on the telephone too.

No objections to the shops up North, but the reason I personally shop Southside when making major purchases, is to make sure there are no potential warranty / service problems, and that the goods are sold to/for for EU standards / use.
