George Roper's Funeral

Les Roper and the rest of the family would like to thank everyone who attended George's funeral at Green Hill Cemetery yesterday. The turnout was amazing and he received a wonderful send off. Thanks go to Sue Steele for her lovely poem, to Raziye for her kind and thoughtful words and to John, George's son, for the wonderful anicdotes about George and his family, a truly memorable ceremony.

Also thank you to everyone who came back to Windy Hill Restaurant to give George a great send off and to all those involved in providing such a great buffet for all the guests.

The family would like also to thank the Cemetery committe for the wonderful support, help, care and attention in ensuring that the occasion was so memorable.

Finally, thank you to everyone who made a donation to tulips on this occasion, approximately 1,500TL was raised on the day.

George you will be missed by your family and all your friends and acquaintances. RIP.....
