Can anyone tell me where I can get photos done for my driving licence in Catalkoy or Girne please?

Yucel !
'A few doors past HSBC' seems too be the simplest way of describing where they are. (They are more or less opposite the end of the road where Kyrenia Medical Centre, and Pertev's 'HosPETal' are located).
I had my UK passport photos done there, and got a complimentary Portrait photo thrown in for free - very competent and efficient.

I concur with Keithcaley they are very good and reasonable. It seems strange not just sitting in a photo booth but these pictures come out much nicer, I will be going there to have my passport size photos done for my wedding licence

Make sure you get the correct size as they tried to refuse mine last month for being too big until I pointed out that it was the same photo as the one they accepted three years ago so they just cut off a bit of the top of my head.

Re: Photos for driving licence
We tried to renew last week using the same photos as had previously been accepted.................
Photo 1: "Too big." "But you cut it down to size last time." "No scissors."
Photo 2: "Printed on wrong paper - it might burn when we make the licence."

There is a camera shop opposite the big car park in Girne that takes passport size photos. We had ours done there and they were good and very well priced. They were also the right size.

There is also the photographer opposite the Lemar in Girne that used to be Astro. Just along from the Curtain Shop

I think that that's the other branch of Yucel - although they do most of the studio work at the one near HSBC, I believe.meldy wrote:There is also the photographer opposite the Lemar in Girne that used to be Astro. Just along from the Curtain Shop

Well I went to Yucel as recommended and they were very good. 8 small ones and a freebie portrait in a mount for 20TL. Now I have to see if they will be accepted for my driving licence as the ones I gave them were rejected for being too big.
