Hello Everyone,
I'm new to this forum and I would like to start by wishing everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
I will be travelling to North Cyprus in the near future, and I hope to bring some cash back home with me.
Does anyone know how much cash you are allowed to bring with you. I will be travelling via Ercan Airport.
Any information will be appreciated,
Thanks
Money?

Re: Money?
I've just answered this question on another forum you asked. It's 10,000 Euros or equivalent and if it's over you have to declare it.

Do not know what the limits are but if you are bringing cash out of the uk you will probably find that is where they are most strict. Large sums need to be documented under money laundering regulations. If you cannot show where it has come from it can be confiscated till you can. They spot it on xrays and there are cash sniffing dogs too.
Some are wise and some otherwise.....

Re: Money?
Hi, I came through Larnaca last weekend, and although the limit is 10,000E, there was a large notice at the red/green channel customs entrance stating that all amounts over 6,000E had to be declared. - or what, it did not say.
