Facebook thread re Kudret Ozersay and Social Contract
Someone pointed out to me that once again the BRS is being got at for not doing something!! As was said in Cyprus Today the Dep Chair and Chair did meet Kudret and promised to bring his ideas to the next committee meeting of the BRS. This has not yet taken place, so how can people say categorically that BRS has turned it down. It may, who knows? BUT I am sure they are not going to say no BRS member can sign up to his Social Contract. Surely it is better for lots of individuals to sign up, than a society just giving it a nod? If you are a BRS member and want to sign up - do so - this will have no bearing on what the society as a whole decides to do. If you have strong feelings either way, let BRS know.

Thanks for clarifying Ann. I tghink CTG did not quite put it correclty and so there was a huge misunderstanding. Of course, the BRS is entitled to make its own decisions without being co-erced into so mething. However, good Kudret's Charter is, it is for indiv iduals. Or did he want to address the membership. What bothers me is that is more political than I thought BRS was allowed to do.
But let's wait and see what your committee say. Well pointed ut and thanks.
