The RBL Kyrenia Branch will be holding a ‘Fun Day at the Races’ from 4pm on Saturday 26 September at the Courtyard inn in Karakum. Organiser and Branch member Eddie Hollely said: “This is a tried and tested fun event for a very worthy cause and I am delighted to assist. The event has a twist this year but all I can say at this stage is that there will be no videos being played on screen and there will be no winding your wrists backwards!”
He continued: “You can be a winning jockey or a jubilant owner on the day and there are cash prizes and champagne for all winning jockeys. Mo has provided a special menu for the event and there will be live entertainment throughout by Werner.
