E-Ticket Information Help

I have purchased E-Tickets on line with Turkish Airlines. Does anybody know if you have to check in on line and print the boarding passes before going to the airport?

It's best to visit their web site (no earlier than 24 hrs before flight) so you can check in online, book your seat etc.
I don't have a printer and a hand written note of booking ref numbers, flight numbers and times, seat numbers and your name of course has sufficed to check in luggage and get a boarding card at the airport.
To avoid the chance of aggro, I usually visit my internet supplier and use their PC to print off the booking and write on any check in details i.e. seat numbers having checked in online.

My brother just flown with them all they had was their confirmation of booking, boarding passes given at check in

I fly with Turkish Airline 2/3 times a year.
I print my E Ticket off, book my seats if I can at time of booking but if not you can still do this 24 hours before your flight.
You can also check-in at this time (24 hrs) before but I never bother .I just check-in at the desk at the airport, and they give me my boarding pass. I suppose if you are not checking luggage in, checking in on line saves time but I always have a suitcase with me, empty leaving here but full to the brim coming back.

I've just come back from NC 1 week ago and I didn't print out and went straight to Turkish Airline desk to check in from Gatwick and no problem at Ercan coming back to UK.

You only need your passport, all the information is already on the system from purchasing tickets.

It transpired that I was very late for the early morning flight. I thought it was very quiet and sat down for a breather. I then realised that the check in gate was closed!!!!
There were still staff there so I rushed up with my sob story but they refused to check me in. Panic!!!
I can't remember how it cropped up now but I was able to say that I had already checked in ONLINE. That saved the day and I boarded about 15 mins before take off and my bag made it as well.
I always check in online now.

Hi we fly 3 to4 times a year with them you don't have to book in just take your passport to check in. If you do check in same just show your passport at check in.
