Passport Query
Does anyone know the amount of time needed on a passport for leaving and entering this country? I have to renew mine soon, but wondered the length of time needed on it if I want to go over to the South before renewing it. I will try and ask when I next go over, but there isn't always someone their that speaks very good English.

Re: Passport Query
I don't think it's 6 months, that's for Turkey. I only have 3 months left, and no one has said anything yet, and have been back and forth a few times recently, but have some things on order to my South side P.O. Box forgetting about my passport running out, and wondered how much longer I'd got when I could still go over and get back in. I did look on the BRS website but couldn't see anything.

My wife had 1month on hers and went over twice, no problems, this was in November. Sent off for renewal via DHL, returned after 13 days.

Thanks Tojo, did she use DHL via the Food Lodge? and if she did, can the Food Lodge sign on her behalf on receipt of the new passport?

Re: Passport Query
S1, yes we used the Food Lodge. When the p/port arrived back here, DHL phoned us to tell us it had arrived and were willing to deliver it to our home, however there was a bit of confusion due to the language barrier,so we asked them to deliver it to the Food Lodge and we picked it up later.
