looking for Gourds to make lamps from

Have tried there plus the Wednesday market. Lots of big squash but no gourds. I am looking for hard skinned gourds you make lamps from

Not such a good time of the year now, if they haven't been used by now, they probably have been thrown away here. In Dipkarpaz quite a few people have them , make lamps, decorate them, cut the to put trailing flowers in. I will ask and if I find any, will ask my friuend to bring them to Çatalköy and you can pick them up from there.

Just to say, I didn't make these, just bought 5 singles and turned them into a five pendant ceiling light. A man in Kale Burnu makes them, table lamps too. Will do my best!!!

There used to be a place that sells them up near the Bellapias Abby

My friends also make them. One of theirs can be seen at Rafters beside the bar and I have two beautiful ones, I would show them only I am not sure how to upload pictures to the forum!
